Service provider contact details

("Operator", "we", "us").

By using the Website or registering for an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Overlander Base is a structured reference and orientation system for overlanders.

The Website provides:

  • curated references to third-party sources,
  • structured topic classification,
  • affiliate links to external providers,
  • optional premium access to enhanced features.

We do not sell third-party products ourselves. All purchases of products or services via affiliate links are concluded exclusively between the user and the respective third-party provider.

E-books are sold exclusively via Amazon KDP. The purchase contract is concluded solely with Amazon.

2. User Accounts

Users may create a free account.

Users are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information,
  • keeping login credentials confidential,
  • all activities carried out under their account.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of misuse or violation of these Terms.

3. Premium Membership

Certain features may be offered as paid premium services.

3.1 Contract Conclusion

A contract for premium services is concluded when:

  • the user completes the order process, and
  • receives confirmation from us.

3.2 Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in Euro and include statutory VAT (if applicable).

Payment terms and billing intervals are specified during the checkout process.

3.3 Duration and Termination

Premium subscriptions:

  • are concluded for the period specified at purchase,
  • renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current term (if applicable).

Users may cancel via their account settings or by written notice.

Statutory rights of termination remain unaffected.

4. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers within the EU)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal.

You may withdraw from a premium contract within 14 days without giving reasons.

If the service begins during the withdrawal period, and you have expressly consented to this and acknowledged loss of withdrawal rights, the right of withdrawal expires once full performance has begun.

Detailed withdrawal instructions are provided separately during checkout.

5. Affiliate Links and External Content

The Website contains affiliate links.

If a user purchases a product via such a link, we may receive a commission. This does not influence our editorial selection.

We are not responsible for:

  • availability,
  • legality,
  • quality,
  • accuracy

of third-party products, services, or content.

Contracts concluded via external links are governed exclusively by the terms of the respective provider.

  • suspend

parts of the Website for technical or operational reasons.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for:

  • intent,
  • gross negligence,
  • injury to life, body or health.

In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages arising from breach of essential contractual obligations.

Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

We are not liable for decisions made by users based on referenced third-party sources.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
